The third period was great.

First game where I think Holtby outplayed Fleury. He made the 3rd period stops, Fleury didn't, that was pretty much the game.

We all know how it ends but at least Caps fans who were at the game don't have to deal with Pens fans singing on the Portrait Gallery steps one last time. For that alone I'm grateful for staving off elimination for another couple of days.

Outside of 8 and 70, I really think the only difference was a few guys were shooting before passing and (what really changed it) is puck luck turned for us. If Holtby can just be average, not let in softies, and we keep up the level of play we've shown all series they can take this to 7.

They can only ever play one game (or really one shift) at a time. No need to worry about game 7. Let them handle game 6 first.
