Just very easy team to counter.

1. Don't take a lot of penalties
2. Heavy pressure the D.
3. Limit Datsyuk as much as possible

Ottawa is something like 13-2-2 in their past 17. They are actually winning games. meanwhile Detroit has received points in 1 of their past..what 6, 7 games? We've lost so many I cant even keep track. we have Tampa, then St Louis, 2 of the best teams I the NHL. Then we play the 2 teams who are desperate to catch us, and are actually playing good hockey. I wouldn't be surprised if we sink into 9th, and miss by a couple points. If the team could take care of business, and actually win a game down the stretch, we wouldn't be panicking.

But here we are...

Mrazek looks like he's going through the typical growing pains.

Looks like he was told to dial back his aggressiveness. I think they just left it up to him to figure it out how much. Looks like Mrazek went from 5-7 feet out of the crease, to butt hugging the posts.

He'll find his happy medium. In the mean time, he's going to looks like a goalie on fire, or a cold fish until then.

People who actually use those sites for information are funny. You do reliaze this is purely based on math, and not on actual hockey???

If we continue to lose, (Tampa Bay is a loss, St Louis will be another one), we will only be a handful of points (2, maybe 3) up on 9th. This team is a disaster right now. Our playoff lives are in serious jeopardy.
