I have said it before, and I will say it again. The best time to fire someone is the first time you realize that you made a mistake hiring them. In this case it is pretty clear that it was a mistake to hire Verbeek and Cronin. I see nothing from either of them that indicates that there is any hope that their performance, and thus that of the team, is going to improve. Sadly, I expect both of them to last another two years at the minimum.

Henry has no idea what makes a good GM. Bob would still be here if he hadn’t fired himself. Verbeek will be here for a long time.

I'm hoping it's a charlie horse to his arm b/c Terry looked like he got crunched from where the glass and board meet. Gudas' clavicle met that area last game on a boarding hit while he was hunched over, 3ft from the boards.
