They’ve been pretty much trending towards needing an epic collapse to miss playoffs for a bit now.

On the surface things look a lot more dicey than doing a deep dive into the percentages. But that’s also done by design by the league to keep interest up.

Yeah I ran through this with someone on the main board who picked them to miss the playoffs...on Thursday. Like, before these two wins, but after they'd already levitated to 3 points outta the division lead.

No. No one even hates Grant. As we've all said, we just hate that we acquired Grant AND Thompson and that they're both in the lineup over better options.

But with everything on this board everything is black and white, no grey.

Good. I believe I was saying the very same thing in the Grant trade thread and in the early GDT for this game, but I saw that quote and thought "this can't possibly be a strawman"

Grant was solid today. So I would be ok even with Raffl on 4C. Yes, I would hate Farabee on 4LW, but I think with Raffl and NAK they would be great and can score some goals too.

Not really. He at least had tangible value on the PK & shooting prior to coming here unlike Thompson.

I still think going forward he slots better on the fourth line.

Don't see how you can have Thompson in the lineup come Wednesday. He's had three games to audtion and he's shown pretty much zero.
