Not that these things matter but did Pierre not sound so happy when the Blackhawks scored their goal and then nothing when TB scored shortly after? It's like we are constantly watching the away teams broadcast and analysis. It's always what can Chicago do to get better, what can NY do to get even, what are the Canadiens doing wrong? Never what is TB doing right. It's not possible that TB is just doing the right things. Whatever. Haters can hate.

The "slewfoot" was when Kucherov got the penalty in the third. It was really Kucherov trying to get out of the way but couldn't in time. He deserved a penalty but I didn't think he had intentions of hurting him. Just a clumsy play.

Bowman made three deadline trades: Vermette and Desjardins have been very good, while the trade for Timonen has come back to haunt the Hawks in a big way. I really cannot understand why such a risk was taken by a GM who has been totally risk averse.

TVR played about as well as you can expect for a rookie with 18 games who has been out for 6 months. He did play 4 games with the Icehogs, but then his wrist was injured and he had surgery on April 7th. That is how thin and desperate the Hawks are on the blue-line. The Ducks savaged the Hawks top 4, and the Bolts may very well be reaping the benefits.
