Not true. Tampa is hockey crazy and their attendance is great. Grassroots hockey development is even better, and you'll see black, Hispanic and Asian kids on Tampa travel teams. They are doing an incredible job developing the sport.

Honestly not sure there is a more dominant win than a clean slate snowman. It only counts as one win and the 4th one is the hardest to get. See if the Islanders can force a game 7. They almost did last year.

I believed that getting consistently outplayed, and "bending but not breaking", wasn't a recipe for long-term success, because you would eventually break. I think I believed correctly.

Last team to win more than 1 game in a row against the Lightning was the 2018 Blue Jackets. If the Islanders do win game 6 and force a game 7 and then win back to back games against the Lightning, they'll have certainly earned it.

The funny thing is the lightning played probably their worst game ever in game 4 and still almost tied it if not for an amazing save by their defenseman. This is what happens when the real lightning show up. Islanders are toast.
