This is probably obvious to everyone else but the Canes get to essentially choose whether to give Dallas life. If they want to play Nashville obviously just rest/limit minutes but if they think a beat up Dallas team gives them better odds...

Kiviranta was really impressive tonight . With him and seguin back , if the stars managed to get in I think they could upset the canes tbh. That’s why it’s gonna suck if Nashville wins one of these games .

Since its the Stars it will come down to the games on monday and the Stars will blow their second game while Nashville loses both games to the Canes. Stars tradition going back to the early 2010's

While i don't neccessarily think McElhinney was the reason the Stars won it would've helped the Stars if they faced them more than once this year. He's having a rough season especially when you compare his numbers to Vasi. Like night and day.

If he can get 3 or 4 pts in the last 2 games (tall order) he finish top 10 in ppg.
