Jager used to be my go-to. But after many handles and parties I died down on and switched to more rum and vodka types.. Funny thing is I hated black licorice. I feel like once you throw up on a certain liquor, you can't look at it the same

Last Sunday I got pretty sauced on the golf course. $20 for 18 because of being February, and drank about 8 labatts to wash down the Admiral Nelson Cherry shots. Still ended up shooting well. Still ended up being pretty tipsy.

I love black licorice to death (and I'm the only one I know who does lol) so I always have a problem with Jager - no idea when to stop, and little inclination to go slow

You know what, the first time I ever got drunk until I was sick I was 16 and it was on screwdrivers. I'm 47 and to this very day, I STILL can't drink orange juice without sort of tasting the vodka, or at least thinking about it - every time

Same thing with me down to hating black licorice. Blacked out/throwing up all night and that was it for me and Jager.

Make sure you make it as one measure each, it's a shooter. I had a roommate who used a shot apiece and then tried to shoot it. He had to go fetal for a while.

We did them every Tuesday at Country Night. I went to school 45 minutes outside of Cincinnati, which is right on the border of Kentucky. Country town.

They're bad though. They taste horrible and the aftertaste won't go away. It was a rite of passage.


The worst shots I've ever seen:

Smoker's Lung - shot of Jager with a dollop of mayo
Jersey Turnpike - bartender wipes the bar with a wet rag and wrings it out in a shot glass
Sweaty Mexican - Tabasco + Tequila
Cement Mixer - Shot of Baileys + shot of lime juice. Pour in mouth and shake head from side to side so the shot curdles
Aborted Fetus (actually tasty, just looks gross) - half shot baileys, shot peach Schnapps, drop of grenadine


Something else good that sounds gross:

Pickleback shots - take a shot of Jameson and chase it with a shot of pickle juice.

Anybody a fan of Rumple mintz here? My buddy introduced me to this a couple weeks ago, and it's the easier 100 proof shot I've ever had. Currently drinking it now, haha.

Rumple Minze is the signal to let me know my night is over. Once I take one, goodnight. I won't remember anything the next day.

It is delicious though. Honestly, take a shot of it and follow it with a shot of water. It makes it taste so much better.

I also love Monster bombs (Monster and jager), problem is I am not only drunk but bouncing off the walls from the Monster. It's quite fun, until the morning because of the worsened hangover from all the sugar consumed.

The Irish Car Bomb always seals the deal on my night. The last I drank that it was on my buddies birthday and I ended up getting a week's worth of vertigo from being so dehydrated.

Remember to always drink water before bed (unless you blackout). I learned the awful way.

I used to drink only hard alcohol, then I started to like beer and now I'm starting to like wine as well. Beer is my go-to though.

I go Magic Hat #9 for my beer of choice when I just want a quick case. I love red wine. My girlfriend does to. Makes it easier when buying.

Liquor I am a Makers Mark and Crown Royal man. Makers Mark is my go to. On the rocks. Let it sit for 5 mins and enjoy the savory friday night special.

Country Club is best. Before the economy crashed it was 2.79 for a sixer. Now it's a whopping 3.50 or 4 bucks.

The cans, which looks like they were inspired by ****ing circus clowns, are the ideal size. Because you can just chug it quickly and move on to a new cold unit when you want to. With a 40, the thing is gonna get warm at the bottom and that's a slog to get through. Flavor when at its coldest is acceptable, and the price is unbeatable.


Mickey's is just flat out as good as Malt Liquor gets. Ergonomic bottle design makes bottles comfortable in the hand and easy to throw against the nearest building when you're done. Also comes with fun puzzles on the caps.


We used to beerbong Steel Reserve with shots of vodka added. One gets your night red-lined if you have to play catch up.
