We don't know if Lycksell is better than Hathaway or Laughton, but he's far less experienced.
He's also a bad fit, not really a forechecker, not skilled enough to have top 6 upside.
That's why I put him in the Allison, Laczynski, and probably Ginning and Attard camp - guys who need to shine when they get a shot b/c they're fungible unless they step up and show something. Because once they approach FA status, you got to decide if you'll pay them real money.
Brink is different, he probably needs this summer to get stronger and keep working on his skating, but he has top six offensive skills, just needs to round out his game and get used to smaller windows.
Tuomaala, the jury is still out, having a great AHL season at 20 years old, but needs a lot of polish to his game - but he can skate and shoot at a NHL level, and that's a good start.
