First time there is this much whining over this thread. It's just early season fun. Don't be so serious.

You are just finding another reason to hand wave an important stat such as pace. Right now Matthews is on pace for 164 goals which is totally reasonable.

On a more serious note to the OP. This is the kind of list you start 25 games in and not on day 1 as every goal scorer will be on pace for 50+. The list will take way too much time to keep updated with so much volatility early on.

It's the type of list I start when I feel like it. Early means more work for me and I'm ok with that.

Laine, OV or Matthews are the best bets for a 50 in 50 season for me. I still don't think any of them come close but that'd be pretty amazing to watch.
