Best

1. Greene
2. Loktionov
3. Bernier
4. Carter
5. Either Gio or Marty before he got injured.

Worst

1. Volchenkov and not just cause I'm bitter and pissed about today either.
2. Clarkson after the first 12 games.
3. Ponikarovsky
4. Zajac
5. Elias when Kovalchuk got injured probably. Or for the whole year I'd say Harrold though even he only played half the games.

If Moose got more than 1.83 goals of support per game while Marty was out then maybe him.

Best in order:
1. Greene
2. Elias
3. Bernier/Carter/Gionta line
4. Loki
5. Clarkson, he's an elite 3rd liner forced into a top 6 role because we have no depth in the top 6 and yet he leads the team in goals.

Worst:
1. Volchenkov, too slow and is a liability, buy him out.
2. Zajac, probably the most disappointing player this season.
3. Moose, too many softies and couldn't make the big saves we needed from him and he cost us alot of games. I still can't hate the guy though, he's very likable lol.
4. Lou, our top 6 is the worst we've had in a long time.
5. Harrold

I actually thought Kovy had a very good season before he was injured. For what he was given to work with at least. There was one game he rang it off the pipe two different times on breakaways and he was hitting a lot of posts.

When you go from playing with Zach Parise to a new left winger every game especially a rookie grinder like Matteau, and other mis mashes it takes a hit. He also had a new center almost every game until Loktionov came along.

There were no positives to this season. None whatsoever. Being competent is not being good and not a single player on this team rose above competency.

Yeah, we couldn't have lived without his 3 or 4 even strength goals is 34 games.

Very good season when S. Gionta outscores you even strength.

Come on Jim, cherry picking stats with two qualifiers is beneath you.

His shorthanded production was an enormous part of our success early on and you know that.

I would give credit to Loktionov. Far exceeded any expectations I had. Under better circumstances it would have been a great story.

Weren't quite a few of Loktionov's points scored by or assisted by Kovalchuk?

Are you serious? Cherry picking stats? The guy scored 4 even strength goals this season ...you can't spin that disgusting fact in any positive manner. He literally did nothing 5v5 all season.. Nothing. The guy is being paid 11 million real dollars a season now to score goals and he is something like 7th on the team in 5v5 goal scoring not factoring TOI. That is ridiculous no matter what positive you might be able to find. I'm sorry if you can look at Kovalchuk's production this season and in any way say it was adequate you're simply making excuses.
