Canes are a better team than the Panthers but they don’t scare me as much. They’re not as dynamic. More predictable.

Canes are good at forechecking and putting pressure (swarming). We really need to be ready from the start!
I don't know the importance of winning the first game from a statistical point of view, ,but it feels damn good to get the first win and a bit of a cushion!

Very curious to see how this one goes. Carolina is a deeper team and has a better D than Florida. It feels like we're putting it all together at the right time.

I dunno why but I feel like canes will be easier to beat than florida was for us matchup wise. Preds missed some golden chances to seal the series in 6. They had the lead late in both of the last 2 games, but they gave up the tying goal in the dying minutes. I guess we will see soon enough.
I think so too. Expecting the Canes to see the huge target on our backs and try to show us up. And I think they will. Bolts will hopefully respond in game 2.
