Just out of curiosity who would you say is the best top 6 pick in Flyers' history based on games played in a Flyers' jersey? Behn Wilson, Mel Bridgman, Ron Sutter, James van Riemsdyk in that order?
Loved Ron Sutter’s game. But Bridgman.

So much for the good start to the period.

Brutal goal allowed by Sandstrom.
Hideous goal.

Well, in a very short sample size I’d go with Forsberg. But other than Foppa, I’d go:
Bridgman
Sutter
Wilson

Wilson had immense talent, but made way too many bonehead plays to get the top spot. Bridgman and Sutter were both excellent middle 6 centers, but I think Mel was just a slightly better all around player.

Good thing flyers sent down Ersson to protect "Don't call me Tomas" Sandstrom. Anyone want to make a legit case Sandstrom could be better than a strong 3 who is still injury prone?
