Whether they are or aren't is debatable but it is refreshing to see the younger players making positive strides and of course the goaltending being dependable almost on a nightly basis.

I am not trying to be a party pooper here, but using the timeframe that the broadcast used (from holiday break), the team has something like the 3rd best PDO. Basically very high sh% and high save %…

They are playing better during that stretch but there’s also lots of luck involved…like right now they have 3 goals on 15 shots….that’s not going to happen most game.

Yes they were. They were also like 27th in scoring chances as well during that time. So you wouldn’t really expect that sh% to be that high when you are shooting from 30’.

What is happening since that time is they are getting more chances, particularly at ES, but also converting at a very high rate. Both of those things are likely to drop a bit
