The idea is that we can't go over 95 points because they are 4 games left which is a max of 8 points and we have 87 right now. We lose the tiebreaker so if Boston and Detroit hit 95, we're done.

their game tonight is vs Toronto then Wednesday at Washington.

Well I checked the History for you guys. 4 times the Panthers have got 90 or more points with 98 the highest. If this current team wins out that would equal 95 points, the second highest.
