No Ekblad will be the excuse but we played without Serg a significant stretch and he's not a 4 goal difference in the game.

And when they scored nine on us last time, half our team had COVID and we were playing 3rd and 4th string goalies. That's the only response they deserve.

I'm a bit concerned that they're getting into 18-19 mode. Outscoring their problems. Cally is right. 4 goals is too many to let in. The Panthers stayed neck-in-neck with the Lightning all game long in xG.

I was a non-believer in the throwing the switch take. The last two games are making me somewhat at least agnostic. A good showing tonight might get me to church.

1. Did Cirelli play? If not, is he hurt?
2. What happened to Serg?

I have to think Serge and Cernek are ok right? Wonder how whatever mask Serge has to wear will impact his game. Cernek should be ok after getting stitched up. Obviously we’re boned if they are out.

Rutta is the one I’m most worried about. Also read Bogo was out for a bit in the 2nd.

Serg should be fine. No idea what happened to Rutta. Linesman did Cernak no favors and he took a solid punch and went down hard too. Rough night for our d-men, but 22 goals in a 4 night span is nice to see.

I think Vasy would like one of those back. The rest were just high quality goals. It looks like 18-19 because Florida plays that way. They give up defense for chances.
