#3 is his real number and (I believe) a family number as well.

DaCosta once said he has to earn that number. Wondering if it's because he wasn't a Wild draft pick unlike the others? :laugh:

I would say he has earned it. So maybe beginning of next season he wears #3?

I think they'd have to anyways. IIRC, players can't switch numbers mid-season unless they're traded.

Plus I love Coyle in #63. He's keeping it warm until I make my debut.

Not true... Gaborik used 2 numbers in his rookie season. Started the season with #10, later switched to #82, but then went on a slump so he switched back to #10.
