Our terrible PK and terrible offensive pressure shines through again. Seriously, this team is so ****ed. It's not the players for the PK work, it's the coaches. Whatever they did completely undid their work from the past few years. **** you Berube.

Berube managed to kill one thing that historically had worked for this team- special teams.

this is an awful team with two great players, Couturier, Simmonds, and a good goalie who is currently hurt.

Just fire Berube; and Lappy for the abysmal PK... new coach impetus may do something and propel them into the playoffs.

while i think the POs are a dream at this point, not getting rid of this dumpster fire we call a coaching staff is killing this team...

Berube is making is sooooo much harder to win id say hes in on the tank...

I was starting to grow optimistic with this team and hoping they'd win every night...until this game happened and the World Juniors putting all of those awesome prospects on display.

Missed the game to see a STOMP performance at the Kimmel Center and it looks like it was a good game to miss...

This team isn't as bad as everyone thinks it is or excuses Berube's ineptitude for. We see it in the wins we do have and the goal scoring and the fact that we have two top five point getters, one of which is taking turns leading the league in scoring. This should, at the very least, be a team fighting for a playoff spot up until the very last day of the season. A close fringe team at worst. That's what the expectation should be at the least. Our D is bad, but teams out there do more with less by playing smart hockey and using systems to compensate for it. We have 6 players capable of being NHL D, but Berube's been on record as being obsessed about size matchups of all things with his D. It's ****ing stupid and it cost us last season and it's costing us this season.

As for the forwards, we have Giroux/Voracek which alone is a better due or as good a duo as any other in the entire league. If the coach was smart enough to just run Giroux-Couturier-Laughton-Bellemare (or a very limited Lecavalier I guess) down the middle and utilized the three lines well then we'd be perfectly fine as far as the forwards go. We'd still need to dump at least one of Rinaldo/VV (preferably both), but it really isn't that hard to acquire a fourth liner or have an okay one laying around in your organization. Except for this ****ing franchise apparently. The thing is that Berube actually likes Rinaldo/VV and Lecavalier is going to get every chance he can at offensive opportunity. Neither the D nor the forwards or as bad as Berube makes them seem. They're not elite, but they should be playoff bound especially in the East with this **** division and Giroux/Voracek leading the way. In goal we have Mason (reported minor injury notwithstanding).

I really can't stand Berube. Our PK went to utter dog **** and even our PP doesn't feel as good as it used to be. Historically our special teams is the one thing that doesn't fail and he's ****ed it up, among other things.

aaaaaaaaaaaand back to apathy.

Sums it up.

2 family members get fired , don't you mean promote those 2 and hire Cote ?

And post of the night.
