Christmas roster freeze starts tomorow. They had to do it at the latest today or Klingberg couldn't be activated . No rosterspot for him

There are no games during the roster freeze, so they can easily wait until it's over to activate/waive. Even if there's some obscure rule that a player can't practice with a team while on IR (they can, but just for example), you still aren't holding practices during the holidays/roster freeze.
