Tomek is a cautionary tale which explains why Hextall likes to draft a goalie every year no matter how his young guys look.
Goalies are like baseball pitchers, just can't trust them, when you feel safe, they blow a gasket.

Personally, I wouldn't keep using depth picks on goalies as they rarely pan out and rarely increase their trade value. Use a 2nd or a 3rd on one you really want that has starter upside. You can add an actual NHL backup for those depth picks instead if you need to.
