Benning should be playing PP1. As much as I don't like the guy, he is the Oilers best d man at getting pucks through to the net. I don't think it hurts to try. He has played quite well since Hitch benched him. I have little faith in any other Oilers d man to provide anything useful on the powerplay except maybe Wideman, and I haven't seen enough of him.

Nurse scored a PP goal last game, I see no reason why he shouldn't get the first look even though I'm not a fan of his puck moving abilities.

I'm assuming that Wideman draws in tonight and Cagguila for Zykov who has been a complete non-factor the last two games.

One of the things that concerns me is we are once again in a situation where different structures are used in Bakersfield versus Edmonton.
At least that's what I suspect with Hitchcock's hire being such a short term fix it situation focused entirely on the NHL side.

Doubt there has been much dialogue yet between Woodcroft and Hitchcock because our NHL situation was so dire.

The non-uniformity in system play has been a developmental drawback for years, I hope we see proper progression in "cup-of'-tea" appearances.
One of Hitchcock's biggest challenges undoubtedly, make it happen Ken.
