Benning should be playing PP1. As much as I don't like the guy, he is the Oilers best d man at getting pucks through to the net. I don't think it hurts to try. He has played quite well since Hitch benched him. I have little faith in any other Oilers d man to provide anything useful on the powerplay except maybe Wideman, and I haven't seen enough of him.

Me too. Had a bad feeling about the Avs game too but they won it... then again often I have a bad feeling and they lose. And other times I have a good feeling and they win, other times good feeling and they lose.

Tough decision for who comes in for Klefbom. I agree with others Jones needs some practice time with the team first. So he's out.

Winnipeg is a bigger team so Garrison probably should be the one.

But since we lost our 1 PP "specialist" I voted Wideman. Would like to see him a few more games and some PP time. Last game the PP was horrific. Oilers desperately need a different setup.

Jets fan here. I was going to ask you to start Talbot please, but then again if Koskinen gets the start and resembles the Great Wall of China, I have at least some comfort. I'm torn.

Would love to watch the game but I've been losing sleep so much due to work lately that I may be unable to get up at 3AM.

Flying to the Peg on business this morning, seeing the game this evening. Don’t see good things if we get into another shoot out. Hopefully a good shut down game vs the Jets and Talbot closes the door. Stay out of the box boys. Your going up against the top PP in the league. Nurse Russel and Larsson probably all near 30 mins in this one.

Relax, people are just having a little fun. What's most memorable about this one was the authority in which he shot it into his net, most own goals you can tell the guy was trying to swat the puck away and got a bad bounce, the Laine's almost looked like he forgot what jersey he was wearing for a split second as he sniped it.

And besides I'd laugh at Russell's goal now that it is well in the past and doesn't impact the fortunes of the current squad, even though the circumstances were different on his where the puck was bouncing like a rubber ball and Toronto had tight pressure on him.
