I'm watching the games this season often thinking Sabres are on PP because I'm not used to sustained offensive possession.

I understand the thinking. They look fine to me though. Some solid team building/reward for hard work if Lazar score a hatty. Would prefer that.

I don’t think one PP shift with Lazar on it even slightly slows the progression of that group.

i kind of like the difference. Reminds me of the blues 4-5 years ago. PP1 is the movement PP. PP2 is the shooting PP.

Heh. I was talking about how the forwards are putting pressure on the puck carrier from behind and coming back with speed, allowing the defensemen to step to the puck carrier because they have backup. They then have options to move the puck too. Like... they look like an actual hockey team.
