I had a concert, missed the game, seems like both us and Panthers getting a point is acceptable result wise. How did they look?

I caught like the last minute of regulation, with Mueller icing the puck being two strides of empty ice away from the red line. Seriously, that was so dumb that it was funny. He must have totally panicked or something.

Outside of that play Mueller play really well, IMO. Or at least, he looked good................EXCEPT for that last icing at a critical moment. I hope Hynes remembers the rest of his game before that, or else we'll never see Mirco again.

As for the game, it was a very level headed game by both teams. If we had some better puck luck, (no really), Pitts wouldn't have scored their tying goal. But not to take away from Pitts, they played a reasonable game, but NJ was pretty solid all game, except for last 3 minutes of 3rd

Ya, Mueller's been solid so far. You don't really notice him all too much (unlike Lovejoy) which is good for a defensive D-man. The icing seemed to be a mis-calculation. He either thought a forward was going to make a break for it, or he just got too much on it. It wasn't like he threw it away in a pressure situation like SOME other D-men we know.

As for puck luck, as I said, the post had 2 assists for Pens goals. Don't recall seeing that in a single game before.

cant believe they stopped play for crosby on that.

What I can’t believe is that he was able to come back and score the winner after that... after barely making it to the bench, doubled over, play stopped, looking like he was ready to die....

:eyeroll:

Biggest ***** in the game. You can have all the skill in the world, and God knows he does, but if you’re going to be pulling that nonsense night in night out, you’re forever a ***** in my book. Sorry. **** him and his team.

Yeah I too, thought he saw a play with a forward was going that way, but the fwd went the other way. Lets see if Hynes keeps him in the lineup again :)

He's good on PK too.....dat size and reach...

Actually in good Big Brother fashion, the MSG feed didn't really focus on that butt end at all. Now, after watching the SN replay now i see what happened. Haha. TravTrav is getting a nasty edge to his game now that he's getting old.... Love it.

MSG feed quickly rolled over it.... and Kenny and Cangi mumbled some passings on it "vulnerable area, under padding".. and went back to the game as if nothing happened.

About time our Announce team was a bit HOMER'ish for a change. I hated the whole Unbiased garbage all season long.

And Travis is like :
