Wonder if Rangers do their usual thing and sign their played an hour before arbitration.

Strome hearing is scheduled for 9AM I believe. I’d expect both sides would have preferred sorting it out tonight rather then a very compressed time window in the morning before the hearing. We find out soon enough.

Strome in at 2 years @ 4.5 per with NYR. Where are the "Rangers are going to get taken to the cleaners" and "Rangers are so screwed" gurus now?

The Rangers are in good shape.

1.5 for Lemieux leaves $4,879,367 in cap space. 3.95 of that will be for the bonus cushion penalty, leaving $929,367, but that's for 23 players.

We'll probably end up with 22 on the roster, especially if one of Kravtsov or Barron makes the team, due to their bonuses.

I think Weegar was the last player on the arbitration list.

A lot of the player movement has occurred already. I guess there's still some free agents still looking for contracts.

However. most of the roster spots on most teams have been filled now. NJD have only 16 roster spots, while Tampa only has 18 roster spots filled. Every other team has 19 or greater spots filled.
