I doubt it happens but that's a good thought. Signed next year too and replaces Bergy/Krejci down the middle if one or both retires. Seeing what Jeannot and others have got, the value is probably a bit low though.

I dont know if he is. Frederic in the playoffs is a surprise bag for me. Bonino is a cup winner and proven veteran. Nyquist is scoring depth and him on injury reserve until the playoffs is great for managing the cap.

No _way I see Calgary dealing him. Maybe anyone else on that roster but not him for sure. Hell if TJ cost a 1,2,3,4,and 5th. I can only imagine what one of the best two centers in the league would cost.

Would be a dream, but I doubt the Flames trade him for that package, or at all actually. He is signed for another season and has a sweet cap hit, is a great two way center, I don’t think we get one of those so easy.

I would rather focus on someone who can put the puck in the net for the third line RW. If he can also hit and play physical, that’s great, but I think having another scorer is more important (in case of injuries in the too-6).
