The stupid trade talk about trading Wahlstrom for a sniper reminded me of the trading Barzal for Duchene talk. Patience is paying off.

Great goal by Wahlstrom. Was interesting to see Trotz switched up the 1st unit, Beau was in for Dobson

Remember we were told about MDC and Bellows release...it’s nice to a good one for once!!

Bellows yes and he actually still has it. Dal Colle was never pegged as the shooter that Belllows and Wahlstrom are.

Many people believed that Wahlstrom had the best shot by far in the 2018 Draft.

that being said, it’s not just about having a great shot. That can only get you so far. The kid is playing a complete game. Also, with Wahlstrom he’s scored so many goals for USDP that people forget he’s got playmaking abilities and puck skills as well.
Bellows does have a great shot but he just has to round out the rest of his game to put him in position to have success and use his shot.

Like @SI90 I've never doubted Wahlstrom. He is blossoming in front of our eyes. He has shown that he's more than that wicked shot, but his release gets me rock hard.

Lord, between that and the pre-game throne . . . maybe there's a link there?

I was in complete shock. I believe Hayton going to ARZ at #5 is what made everyone slide. All that took was to have each team like 1 guy more than our guys.
