He's a decent player. If they went with him on the cheap I wouldn't be mad, but solely as a 13th forward type in case of injuries.

There are bigger fish out there to get as rental wingers. I'd much prefer Duclair if dealing with San Jose. He has his tape from Florida.

The biggest issue with that team is that it is so bad it's hard to evaluate their players. It's not like they have even somewhat talented guys around them. Hertl got hurt, Coutore was injured most of the season. They're actively tanking for Celebrini.

This is truly crazy. Does anyone remember a time when a pretty good player was traded twice like this in such a short amount of time? I can't imagine the Canucks are gonna get what they paid for him.
Maybe 75 cents on the dollar if they are lucky.
