I can't imagine the IIHF not taking the path of least resistance - which is holding the 2023 WJR in Canada.

(A triple negative sentence!)

Quebec City? don't charge ridiculous prices HC, don't do it.

You know they will. but maybe - just maybe - they have learned their lesson from the Montreal fiasco of '15 and '17. Who knows. Finally the arena in QC gets a tournament. If Team Canada is in QC I'd be tempted to take the fam for a Christmas holiday, provided of course Hockey Canada has learned that lesson. If they haven't, then forget it. WJC in my mancave is perfecto.

The Maritimes
All I can say is, cmon kelowna, Penticton and Kamloops....................put in a joint bid.

I'm here and I'm ready to go to all the games.
Are they submitting a bid?

I heard yesterday that Halifax/Moncton are submitting a joint bid, and Saskatoon/Regina are thinking about it.

Bids are due next week.

I'd like to see it outside of Canada a bit more over the next few years, but I do like a Halifax bid and a Quebec City bid. I attended Halifax 2003 and would consider going again.

Guenther (probably)
Kent Johnson
Bourgault
Brandt Clarke

Russia: (I pray they are invited)

Feel free to add to that list....but man what tournament it could be

Québec/Trois-Rivières officially put in a joint bid with Canada's games being played at the Videotron Center in Québec.

Bourgault will be too old.

I would add Zachary Bolduc.

you do realize that '02 born players are not eligible to play 2023 WJHC? You've listed a few of them. 2023 WJHC is for players born in '03 or later. later as in '04 or '05.
