I wouldn't say I love Freddy or view him as a keystone for the future core or anything, but given where they are trading one of the only cost controlled young centers that are actually in the system seems a bit unnecessary. Unless it's a like-for-like swap for another similar aged center who needs a change of scenery or part of a larger set of moves.
And who are they going to replace Frederic with, Yamamoto? No thanks.

Very good

But if you are BB or agent. Doesnt it need to be a one way deal...at min?

Is the drawback to this quick and short deal..
BB is a ufa next offseason?

I maybe looking to much into it, but his AAV is actually $50k less than it was last year. This would seem odd after the season he had and you'd think it'd be more. Looking on CF though his AHL salary next year will be $100k vs $80k it was last season. Makes me wonder if Boston see him in the AHL next year again (thus in higher AHL salary), but if he does need to be called up his lower cap hit should be manageable with how tight things look like they'll be.

Good investigation

Imo parent Bruins would be foolish to not dress Bussi at least 5 to 7...5 to 10 games next season

All this talk about resting Ullmark ... has to come into practice/fruition.

I am not against Lindholm as a player , but I do agree they need to try and get younger , and with no draft picks it makes it harder ..........BUT ! lets not give up

There should be a market for Marchand , I think Colorado , and would I be off thinking LA could be interested they have Cup aspirations and they should .....what do you think ...........
I am not in favor of moving DeBrusk but if there is thought that he might not resign or might be to pricey to do so , or that there is a deal that is too good to pass up that would change my thinking .........

I know I could be throwing shit against the wall to see if it sticks ,but two teams I think the Bruins should try talking to is Arizona and LA , they have young players that might be interesting Arizona ---Crouse and McBain .....LA --- Byfield and Vilardi ..... I know it might be a crazy thought but maybe makes for interesting discussions ...........
I watch a lot of ARI games (I'm a masochist) and also keep up with the general HF ARI fanbase. I can tell you that Crouse will not be traded any time soon, and very unlikely (but I guess less unlikely than Crouse). That Crouse-Hayton-Maccelli line really clicked and is one the team can grow with as they add in the Guenthers and Cooleys. It would take a huge overpay to get Crouse. The B's prospects aren't good enough to entice the Coyotes because of their own prospects. Whatever else might be in the deal from either side, I think it would have to include Swayman.

I do think Vilardi would be available, but I'm not a huge fan- not a great skater, chronic back issues.
