Let's be real here for a second. If PL actually decided to drop em' with Hartman last night he probably would have gotten concussed. Has PL ever even fought? Hartman, not the biggest guy, but he can throw. PL would probably still be looking for the jersey grip by the time a haymaker connected to his chin. I'm glad he didn't fight. The dudes a shit disturber, draws penalties, never known to be an actual tough guy. He can stay in that lane.

Unrelated but actually not, the Wild are one of the dirtiest teams in the league on the down low. Slightly less without Dumba but still. Usual suspects up to it last night in Hartman and Foligno. Real stand up leadership group over there in Minne eh? f*** those muppets

PLD gave Faber a love tap , get over it!

Team I like PLD now is in full effect.

He had some bad moments sure, but you guys burned the brisket over grilling him.

I get that, but there's no upside to that, in that moment, during the scrums, he's always backed up his teammates, I have no doubt his teammates know he gives a shit...to a degree. Doubt if PLD cares what is panned in the national media or fans.....it's about him...and his teammates....

As far as last night, there was no rallying point to be made, so yea I'm ok with him not doing anything....in that moment
Stop making me agree with you…

If it’s one one McDrai that reacts then he has to fight but when he’s getting under the skin of nobody’s then I much prefer he (or any player) keeps winding them up. Not fighting is much more likely to draw penalties, get players off their games… etc.

There was zero upside in fighting in that game, in that moment.

PLD should have just fought him, tbh

Ya get a concussion in the stretch run so you won't be the same for the playoffs.

Hartman is a Wussy with his we are missing the playoffs meltdown.

He should of led his team and played better all season .

But he is a semi-scrub.

I see some of the PLD derangement syndrome comments are unable to shift gears when he is an ass et.

PLD vs Draisaitly in the playoffs, every day twice on Sunday....

There's still a chance Edmonton could catch Vancouver. They do have 3 games in hand.

So basically we'd be playing the best team in the NHL in round 1.
I watch the Oilers a good bit. Sometimes they look unstoppable just firing on all cylinders. Even their depth looks real good some nights. Best bet to beating them would be exploiting some of their slower dmen and getting Skinner in his own head.

I think they're a goaltender away from winning the SC.

Skinner really faltered in the playoffs. If they had good goaltending in the playoffs last year they probably win it all.

PLD has about 3 total fighting majors in the NHL and 3 in juniors. One NHL fight was against Scott Mayfield, who is no pushover.
For those who hasn’t seen it

Mayfield couldn’t get him to budge with Dubois holding him. Dubois has f*** you strength, i’ll give him that. Wish he knew how to use it. He can ragdoll people if he wanted to, just like everything else in his game, he can be a great player if he wanted to. Such a shame. Hoping he still proves us wrong sooner rather than later.
