Dont worry about it
Start of the season really masked Blake’s dumbass offseason. It’s all coming to light now, especially with Talbot struggling. $8.5 million for a guy we didn’t need, instead of quality goaltending. Shoot, even if we leveraged all or part of the Dubois package for a goalie, we’d be in a better position now and moving forward. Probably going to lose Roy for nothing too.

At this point I don’t care if Todd goes, I’ll only be satisfied once Blake is gone.
Blake AND Luke.

I didn't even realize they hadn't already sent him down. Just assumed they would have since he had himself a good game.

From LAKI:

Sounds like Turcotte might actually remain in the lineup, and Lewis may not be available either.
I assumed since QB back Turc would press box.. but if Lewis is unavailable maybe we get 7 min of Turcotte which is better than nothing

This team is frustrating as hell, and so I think they'll win this one convincingly and no changes will be made.

Games against Nashville are always weird. Could see Dubois picking up a couple points and moving into a tie for 265th with noted fan-favourite Jeremy Roenick with 22 points as a King.

1 point for PLD will tie him with defenseman Randy Jones in exactly as many games. That's ... something!

They can't be THIS bad. They will win a close game tonight -- maybe in a SO. Thereby saving Blake from firing TM (as if he ever would). Overly optimistic King fans and Carolyn will proclaim they are back and ready to make a run for the SC over the course of the next 10 days.

Juicy Saros owns us don't he. Shutout no doubt. Just want Turcs to suck like sh*t every shift so he can stay in the league. See JAD!!!

Should Todd be fired? Hard to argue against.

Is Blake stubborn enough to withstand a potential playoff miss? All the evidence points to yes.

Byfield's hand is hurt.

He's looking at his fingers and doing an exercise by squeezing out the water bottle with Chris Kingsley at the bench.

Always worry about anyone who’s got the complete 100% certainty mindset, their inability to gage situational awareness will pull you down with him. That is Rob Blake IMO.

If the Kings miss the playoffs, or exit the first round (especially if it's against Edmonton) Todd is gone. But not until then. Blake already showed his hand.

No Kings defenseman should ever pinch. It’s better for no one to do it over taking the risk of one or two competent defenders from trying it.
