The way them making the playoffs will affect next year - it won't.

But them losing only makes life as a Sharks fan much easier. And it's nice cheering for a team to win for a change!

I'm on the "loved you Tomas, but you're enemy now" train and also the "if Vegas misses the playoffs this year, they're more likely to miss next year" train, so yeah, would love this.

However, moneypuck gives Vegas a 80% chance to make playoffs and the wild only a 22% chance to make playoffs. It's a long shot.
