Man...This Reimer mask has so much potential. It actually has a a real coherent design motif. Generally respects the shape and contours of the mask itself. It's also even got that singular prominent "individual" thematic flair to set it apart from a generic "team mask". Immediately identifiable as a Reimer mask. That's all awesome. It's still a decent mask, but it could've been a great one with better execution. Less use of squidgy softened edges and tones would've made the design pop out a lot more boldly and more visually clear. Less muddled between design elements and texture fill.
It's not that the iconic masks of the 90s lacked the technology to airbrush softer lines and more muddled textures. It's that they seemed to appreciate that more clean lines and firm blocked elements translate to a more impactful presentation that articulates the fundamental design more clearly.
Heck, even the Stezka and Raanta ones actually have a little bit of promise to them. Though weaker, and even harder to even tell, because things end up so muddled in an ocean of overly elaborate texturing.
