That Rangers mask is quite good. The Stars one is potentially top 5 in Dave's ugliest ever.
The lens flare on that one tooth really makes that pop

This is another perfect example of where Dave's design and layout sensibilities really let him down. It's a classic tried and true concept. The whole, "cage is a mouth of a predator" thing. Yet somehow Dave botches it by not having the bottom of the "mouth" following the lines of the mask/cage. It's just such a simple, basic, fundamental sort of awareness that he seems to lack the ability to execute on.
This Sharks/Cuda mask on the other hand, he actually does seem to follow the lines of the mask and contours a lot better. Which is nice.
But then wtf is going on with those finned things? They're jumping...backward off the mask? And just clipped off to boot? What? It's still just compositionally sloppy nonsense.

EyeCandyAir is one of the best, but nobody really uses him. One of the other posters mentioned that Bauer has a deal with Dave and since a majority of NHL goalers use Bauer helmets (because they're damn good) they go to him.
