I would prefer RHP with Suzuki-Caufield, and the third line could be Newhook-Monahan-Anderson.
But that would leave Pearson-Dach-Slaf, and Gally on the 4th line... so I can understand why they did that, at least for the beginning of the season. Lines could change quickly though.

What stands out to me right away is that 3rd line. That’s in the conversation for the slowest line in all of hockey. And I really like Monahan.
True, however they are all very high IQ players, don’t think it will matter much. That’ll be a very good defensive line that will contribute some.

I don't get why RHP start with the black hole Evans at center.....If you don't want to play him on the 1st line because that line would be too small, at least play him with Monahan.

RHP-Monahan-Gallagher/Pearson
Gallagher/Pearson-Evans-Ylonen

Man its great to see Anderson next to Suzuki and Caulfield.

Should last about 2 weeks like usual
Against Toronto it make sense, he's going to score his usual goal against them.

They just need to switch Monahan and Evans and the lines are pretty good.
AND get Gallagher off the PP.

RHP on the 4th line, WTF??

Monahan stuck with Pearson and Gallagher??

I'm hoping we're healthy when Dvo is back so both Pearson and Gallagher are out of the top 9.

Trying not to lose my mind but why the f*** is Monahan playing with these two garbages??

Why is Gallagher even getting any PP time?

Get the Donkey away from Caufield and Suzuki.

The hell is this lineup??? What is going on here? Someone tell me this is a bad joke.

I think MSL is giving the vets (Gally, Pearson) an opportunity to show that their lackluster play was only due to them being smart vets and saving it for real season start (haha).

I expect that after a few games Gally is either injured or off the 3rd line because he can’t keep up.

1. Anderson has proved he doesn’t belong there since he has zero vision to pass the puck.
2. RHP has a lot to prove that he can play at the level he did last year (horseshoe status)
3. Heineman robbed.
4. Barron over Norlinder is questionable.

There will be injuries and call-ups during the season, maybe even trades?
So many things happen and change during a long season.
