IMO, Hopkins will be a post June 1 cut.

They can try and trade him but no-one is gonna want the headache of him wanting guaranteed money plus him regressing and still thinking he is a top WR. Plus the PED issue.

They need WR help but can’t afford to trade for it.

Something I saw a bunch but never posted here was just how often Watson was getting love from opposing players and coaches during his six games back. Multiple times during a game, he’d finish a play and would have some opponent or coach come over for a dap or quick hug.

Might not have to, but even if they do it won’t be much. They’re also gonna be desperate.

They are, but the list of needs is pretty long. Need another pass rusher, a whole new group of DTs, a linebacker or two, safety help…. And that’s just the defense. They have to be careful about where they use their limited trade capital.
