Look at how many of these game have been played without the starting QBs.

SF even with their QBs does not threaten you deep. Rely on YAC for chunk plays. They get down like today, they are hard pressed to throw short and get chunk plays when the D can sit back a bit and come up and make the tackle. Plus their interior line is struggle with pass protection.

Just snowballing. Ever since Shanny didn’t challenge that completion it’s been downhill for SF.

And with the way the rules to protect the QB are now. It only makes sense for defenders to go after the arm of the QB to force a fumble. Surprised more QBs are not hurt in the elbow or hand with those chops to the arm.

How is that luck? They are 14-1 with Jalen at quarterback and were basically demolishing teams until he got hurt in Chicago. They have been lucky today but the Niners have also been dumb. Some of these penalties are just stupid.
