He has had wretched injury luck. Just like most of the rest of the team. Weird injuries too like he missed several weeks with an eye injury. He’s certainly be playing if he was healthy now.

The Pot 4 teams with the best chance to advance are Marseille, Celtic and Brugge. All of those teams are in really lousy groups.

A lot of the Pot 3 teams could do some damage though. Napoli, Inter & Benfica might be the second best in their groups on merit.

Those would be the “upset” picks in my opinion.

Not sure where is the most appropriate for this, we don’t have a general CL thread, but if anyone recalls Al Khelaifi and Leonardo trying to intimidate match officials after losing to Madrid, unsurprisingly nothing is coming of it after slow-rolling and burying the investigation. Open talk of conflict of interest, though of course nothing will come of that either.
