Nowhere nearly as many as Fiala, who is 1 minute away from leading the team in PIMS

Yeah I know he takes the most, but their penalties are night and day. Fiala seem to be the kind trying to get a edge on a guy [or retaliation], where Grundy will just put his stick into a guy skate when he's 100 feet from the net and not a threat at all. He did this on back to back shifts one game. The same damn penalties. He takes really really dumb lazy penalties, same with Pepe when he was here, and gets benched because of this.

Korpisalo, I would give a 2 or 3 year deal @ $2.75 - 3.5 million if he ends up the #1 in the playoffs and the intention is for him to be the #1 for next season. While Copley has a very high win percentage, his save percentage is average. Going into next season the Kings would be in good shape with Korpisalo/Copley. Buying Petersen might be a good idea as this is what I calculated on CapFriendly's site:

If Petersen is not bought out, his salary cap hit for the next 2 seasons would be $3.875 million per year. Petersen's AHL numbers have dropped, instead of being fairly good when he was getting the majority of starts when he was first sent down. Villalta has been the better goalie and getting more starts than earlier in the Reigns season. I think for the Kings and for Petersen, it would be best he gets a fresh start with another team.

If the Kings convince Gavrikov to re-sign with them, my guess would be something like a minimum 5 year deal @ $4.5 million(on the open market I could see a team give him 7 years @ $5 million). Ever since he was acquired, the Kings d-men pairs have been a lot more balanced, so it would be a big blow if they can't keep him.

Korpi does not look good to me on the shootout.
The way he backs up before up before the shooter shoots to a degree I have never seen is a different technique.
No shootouts in the playoffs but it is concerning on breakaways.

I have noticed that about Korpisalo as well. Korpisalo has good size(I think he's only an inch shorter than Copley), but he crouches a lot more where Copley plays more upright. Even at his size, if you back up too soon while being in a crouched butterfly position, you give the shooter too many options and room to shoot at. I would like to see him challenge more by being outside the goal crease. It could be more about timing, backing in relevant to the shooters speed coming in.

Korpisalo should be okay and I wouldn't worry about him on breakaways just yet. Any goalie who wants to improve, will work on details. I'm sure goalie coach Ranford will discuss and work on that aspect with Korpisalo.

Makes no sense to buy out Petersen now. His buyout cap hit next year is more than if we were to just keep him buried on the Reign. That's unfortunately what's probably going to happen unless we pay a handsome price to offload him to AZ or someone else tanking for the foreseeable future (which would be bad asset mgmt). If you want to feel better about it, you can think of it as $3.5m Korpisalo + $1.5m Copley + $3.875m Petersen is still less than $10m Bobrovsky. And there's a chance Petersen returns to form, although that's looking less and less likely.

My bad, I read that chart wrong. So keeping him buried in Ontario might be the only option. Trading him to a team like the Crapotes, would be too costly in giving up a 1st round pick. There might be a trade option to get a bad contract back on the same 2 remaining years with another player, but to find that perfect scenario would probably be a bit of a reach.
