Exactly why the NHL should adopt a rule for hits that cause injuries that automatically makes the suspension, if the hit is judged suspension worthy, the number of games decided by the league followed by the number of games missed by the injured player.

Cernak must have had really bad concussion symptoms to be held out the whole series.

He was a bigger loss than other fan vases realize. Those choked away leads in Game 3 and 4 might not happen with him in the line up. He plays those shut down minutes and actually clears bodies out of the crease.

This stuff isn't new for us but pretty crazy to have that kind of injury list only in Round 1. Hope everyone rests up this summer and gets their body right for next year. Window is still wide open.

You could tell Point wasn't 100% after what happened with Rielly. I thought Hedman looked fantastic this series and looked like prime Hedman at times.

Kind of suprised Vasy didn't have something small going in the way he was playing, but it was all mental issues with him it seems. Psyched himself out like he did last year in round 1.
