Pre-season in Russia have started.

Today, Kostenko played with the KHL team Spartak Moscow. They lost 4-3 in OT. No points for Kostanko.

Sochi is playing right now, but Gordin is not in the line-up.

Can't wait to see the progession of Filip Mesar (In OHL maybe), Owen Beck, Vinzenz Rohrer (I really like him, I think Habs made a fantastic selection with him, he have high potential for a 3rd rounder, he reminds me of Travis Konecny), Lane Hutson at NCAA too.

Fantastic prospect pool to watch.

Big-10 released the schedule for all their games. So we have the schedules for Dobes, Smilanic, Gorniak & Pitlick.

Here are the dates when the prospects face each other:

- October 28 & 29: Pitlick vs. Dobes
- December 9 & 10: Pitlick vs. Smilanic & Gorniak
- January 20 & 21: Smilanic & Gorniak vs. Dobes

Gordin was in pre-season action today for Rostov (VHL). They lost 5-4 in the shootout. He didn't have any points, but he was the only one from his team to score in the shootout.

I updated the op with schedules.

the VHL season starts today for Gordin.

Will be interesting to see how they handle Kostenko, 5:22 in his first game, just 1:59 in his 2nd. If he's not going to play much hopefully they send him back to the VHL. He's under contract with Spartak for this season and next.

Engstrom is the opposite of Kostenko as he played only 3:06 in the 1st game of Champions League but in game 2 he played 9:46. If he could get over 10-12 mins a night, I guess I wouldn't mind if he stays in the SHL. He turns 19 in 2 months and his contract in Sweden ends in April so he's going to be an interesting case. There's not much room on Laval's blueline next season so we'll see what the plan is, what kind of season he has and how things go in terms of TOI, usage, as you would rather him stay in Sweden for 2-3 years if he can get the playing time as he's with a top organization over there.

Was hoping Dichow would have gotten in one of the Champions league games, really hope he gets a decent amount of playing time.
