His suspension runs through November, imagine he starts counting again then unless the sharks find some way to void it - which is unlikely IMO

uhg thats a tough outcome but I always assumed the NHL wouldnt find a reason to help the Sharks...

That seems like a pretty light punishment for an infraction that could jeopardize the entire league

This still feels like something you could terminate a contract for.....

I can’t imagine a situation where they’re going to want him back in the room where literally every player (and coach) from last year go out of their way to point out what a change it is in the locker room.

I will say, just as far as social behavior goes, coming back into an established room as the unwanted stepson may (MAY) make him a better human being. Especially if they’re doing well without him.

I’d honestly put him on the 4th line and say, earn your place — and not just on the ice.

I'm pretty cynical and think he'll likely be back in the top 6 once his suspension is over, but I wouldn't care to wager on it
