Struggling to find how throwing a bottle makes a city/state racist.

Trae Young got SPAT of and declined to press charges.

Kyrie gets an empty bottle thrown his way after fan sees him stomp and wipe his feet deliberately on our logo

RACIST. RACIST RACIST.

Look. No matter what we do, or how the city is now, we're gonna be labeled. It sucks. It's annoying but it is what it is. Kyrie lit the flames with his comments before coming back to Boston knowing full well the vitriol and division this country is going through. Knowing the media would eat it. Look at how they cut Durant's comments last night making it seem worse than what it was. Jaylen Brown is what Kyrie thinks he is. Kyrie literally thinks he knows more than everyone else. He thinks he's above everyone. He talks all this stuff, then goes out and deliberately did that to the logo. A big FU to the fans, FU to the City, and FU to the Celtics organization. A organization he fu***d with. That bent over backwards for him. We supported Kyrie and he screwed us. I don't know why he's acting like we/the organization treated him horribly. We and they didn't. I want someone to ask him the question: Why did you do that to the logo?

But nobody hasn't. Someone from the Celtics organization has to say something. Not ex Celtics players. Someone current. Step up to Kyrie. We look like morons

Didn't all the internet detectives determine that 95% of those tweets did not come from the New England area? Let's just push more of that false narrative.

Yes, basically what happened was a Montreal sports radio station started the rumor that racist tweets and a certain word were treading in the Boston area. In the end, and after some research, it was found that most of the racist tweets were coming out of Canada and the word was never treading anywhere.

PS it wasn’t investigated by internet sleuths but by some reporter that dug into it.

Terrible act of racism by this fan in basketball as basketball is the only sport where this occurs or so I’ve been told.

^
Under-discussed real factor in all this fan madness. Fans everywhere are on one right now.

I don't recognize either of those baseball teams but that 99.999% has to be in the state of Florida, no?

The wildest part about this whole thread is the gentlemen reaching the mound only to be gently escorted back to the stands with a Pat on the back.

“cmon Mark I told you, you can’t keep doing this”

My first thought was that this was not the first time he tried to fight the opposing pitcher

seemed like a weekly occurrence judging by the reaction of the manager who is escorting him away

He’s lucky the 3B didn’t murder him

Lol he is nothing like him, stop being a clown

really took his cues from Kyrie by signing a max deal here and never making anything about himself
“You just hope that, obviously — everyone is expected to act a certain way,” Tatum said. “Cheer for your respective teams and say what you want to say in a competitive manner. You can’t cross any lines. I kind of understood what he was saying about just trying to keep it about basketball. I think most people should understand what he was talking about just with the nature of everything that’s kind of happened the last couple days.”

So umm the Ainge comments from a couple years ago that are finally getting attention? If I am Wyc, it's time to move on from Ainge. He's a solid GM but he's totally out to lunch. Marc Bertrand is spot on. Absolutely jarring comments from him about how he would listen to Kerr and Popovich but not NBA players.

There's legit basketball reasons to move on from this guy. If they can't pull the trigger now that the whole league perceives him at best as oblivious to racism and the issues of the modern NBA player and at worst an actual racist (AND FTR I DONT THINK HES A RACIST BUT HE'S SHOWN WOEFULLY POOR JUDGEMENT) then they never will. If you ask me it's the perfect time to move on. They need new eyes in here and an overhaul of the roster.

Wow damn he’s saying they should keep it about basketball and not throw things at players or spit on them or swear at their families, he’s totally Kyrie and that for sure is a different opinion from what every functional adult with a brain believes

Tonight could be the swan song for the Celtics. With all the ups and downs I enjoyed the season. Sure I wanted a championship but that isn't happening.

I hope this off season they make this team competitive. That's all.

Is that asking too much?

The thing is we are a pretty battle tested team that is still young.

We've won more playoff series and games than Milwaukee or Philly.

Sometimes less is more I'm fine if we start Smart at PG and just try and build a better bench than what we have. I think Kemba has fallen off too much for it to work out here.

He said he agreed with Kyrie after Kyrie called US a bunch of racist. There was a lot of things he could have said there. But saying he agreed with Kyrie is worrisome and shows me he’s more concerned about his friendship with Kyrie, then sticking up for the city

And also I never said he was Kyrie. I said he was friends with, talked to alot, looked up to him, mentored him, etc.

Again concerning if you're a Celtics fans that that pea brain Kyrie could be poisoning his mind

The players don't like things being thrown at them. As in they really don't like it and hate it.

They'll take each others side on that issue 10x out of 10 no matter the terms. We almost got through both games without an incident its a shame.

I want them to win so they can bring those assholes back to Boston.

Then again, I don't want to suffer. It's a double edged sword.
