Surely A-Rod the player and not the broadcaster?

Nats go quietly against Eduardo Rodriguez. To the 9th. And the heart of the Red Sox order as Jays fans look on nervously.

A-Rod most CERTAINLY is a terrible broadcaster, but I actually like hearing him on the air for the comedic gold factor.
I mean, NO ONE can fake saying some of the things he does and keep a straight voice.

His commentary is so bad, it's entertaining!

Sucks as a Jays fan to (potentially and likely) miss by 1 game but there were more than enough opportunities to get the wins needed.

Sure not really getting to have even 50% of your home games actually at home contributes and a leaky bullpen with injuries was a big factor but when you’re up against good or bad teams you gotta close it out more often than not. Jays let too many slip away and this is where it’s at.

Always next year.

I'll say this for Toronto:
It really does look like they have "arrived" on the competitive scene in the always tough AL East.

Years of crap seasons with some false starts sprinkled in, but now it looks like they have a good young core they can improve upon.

Like you mentioned, more consistency with their scheduled home games, some fixes to that bullpen to go along with the experience the players have picked up over the last two seasons = a more dangerous blue bird squad for next season.
