I would prefer to keep the roster size like previous years.

Also, if we dont do PIM, can we add something like face off wins? Maybe take one stat away from goalies?

Btw folks, this roster reduction is depressing.
I like fantasy leagues which resemble as much as possible the real game, the new format - see below - is good for kids who knows 50 players in the whole NHL. Six forwards is a joke IMO.

Honestly, I believe I won't have much fun playing with such small rosters. Therefore if you'll find another manager, I'll give up my spot in the league. I'm really sorry, but better leave room for someone who'll be happy to be part of it.

I'm fine with keeping the active roster size as is. It seems like most of the group is neutral on it, so if changing it is a big negative for some, I'm fine with it staying as it was last year. We were going to reduce the NA/IR spots anyways though, right?

Correct, I removed the N/A and reduced the IR+ spots to 4.

With a dozen teams made up of 18 total players each, we'll have 216 players to fill out the league and eliminated a total of 48 players. It's not a drastic change, and I think it'll make the league more challenging as well by creating better balance.

Sorry to see Albi go, but we have someone already lined up, and most of the GMs are fine with the change. We'll be drafting in about two weeks, I'm hoping mostly everyone will be able to attend the live draft.

Congrats to Don (Rafi Bomb) on winning the Tikkanen Cup!

Hope to have you all back next season for 2022-23.

Also a heads up well in advance: for next season, we might be making some changes to the way stats are scored, as another member made a great suggestion that I agree with in that not all stats should weigh the same, i.e., goals and assists should be valued more than hits and blocks, so we might use a points based value system for each statistical category.

And if anyone else has suggestions for next season, like changes to lineups/roster spaces, transaction limits, etc., feel free to post your thoughts. Everything will be taken into consideration.
