Jukka Jalonen is the King and the World Championships are his kingdom. Again it's been absolutely hilarious, to see so many foreign "experts" to sell Finland short. Yet again Finland is going for a gold medal under Jalonen, he just doesn't build a team, he builds a machine.

Last time when Team Finland lost a medal round game under Jalonen, was back in 2013 after that nothing but gold medals.

Olympics:
2010, won bronze medal

World Championships:

as a assistant coach:
2008, won bronze medal

as a head coach:
2009, QF loss
2010, QF loss
2011, won gold medal
2012, bronze medal game loss
2013, bronze medal game loss
2016 World Juniors, won gold medal
2019, won gold medal
He’d look good behind our bench

Mo's World Championship is over

5 Assists in 10 Games

Enjoy the rest young fella... You earned it.

Next stop: Traverse City... For hopefully a Prospect Tournament and then Training Camp.

I don't think they will send Mo to Traverse this year, get focused on Red Wings camp, he is a Wings player moving forward.

Isn't Training Camp headed back to Traverse City though?

I think those are the intentions we will have to see if that works out. I still don't think Mo will play in the Traverse City tournament. He is on the 23 man roster, imagine getting him hurt in that tournament... I just don't think they will risk him in that.

Seider is very far from a prospect tournament.
Oh I don't disagree, remember he just turned 20... They might have him play in it... Didn't Cholo or someone play in it for like 3 years ha

Maybe it's just me wanting to see Seider, Raymond, Berggren, etc all play together lol (If they decide to hold one)

Canada started better, Finland did score. Canada equalizes, Finland takes the lead again, almost dominates on the lead, then easy tripping penalty, Canada scores. Finds the momemtum again.

Crazy game, total coin flip.

What a freaking game. 0-3 to gold medal. I was pulling for Finland to win.

Huge mistake by Yzerman. Galant is a champion

Does not impress me. Canada was just like Vegas. Bunch of individualists. 2 PP goals, 3 on 3 goal.

5-on-5 was on Finlands hands.

Finland - Zero losses on 60 minutes on this tournament. My Finland.

Didn't Hronek win last year's defenceman of the tournament? Seider should help Hronek tremendously next season, and with possibly another defenceman or two getting drafted by us this year in the first round, the blue line should be looking pretty nice for years to come.

That media all stars is a damn joke.

Holzer and Kirk..
Holzer was fantastic, a true leader.
If he and his amazing spirit wouldn't have led to Germany beating Latvia, Canada wouldn't even have qualified for the quarterfinals.
