1 more week and one of the best days of the NFL year is upon us. Cannot wait for the draft and to see the moves Douglas makes as it's going to be must see TV.

I don't have time to listen to it either but you can bet the odds on a Joe Douglass presser being a bunch of BS and nothing all to newsworthy is about the same odds as the Jets taking Zach Wilson at #2....99.99 %....lol

The only GM who ever was worth listening to was Parcells. At least with him it was entertaining.

good but overrated.
best of them by far, 49ers Bill Walsh. AINEC

You can’t put too much stock in GM interviews or mock drafts at this point. Teams are throwing head fakes and putting out disinformation right now.

The only thing I am pretty sure about right now is that Gettleman isn’t trading back regardless of what he has said recently.

Your troll is completed when Sewell blows a knee the first preseason game...wait do they still play preseason games?

lol, not sure what they call those scrimmages but the NFL will charge for them.

when the QB the Jets pass on plays like a HOF the troll might be in good shape.

Meanwhile, i have no faith in Gettleman. The Jets draft is far more interesting. Actually, the whole AFC East draft is more interesting than the NFC East IMO.

So Wayne Gallman signs with SF for 990k while the Giants guarantee Devontae Booker $6 million over two years? Knowing that 2022 is gonna be a rough cap crunch?

Strange talent and asset management to me. I liked Gallman as a backup who I thought filled in admirably when Saquon went down last year. Booker is known garbage.

Giants will have the choice of one of the top O line or defensive players in this draft.

I also believe the Jets will trade up and have three first round picks

Giants are taking one of the WRs if they are there. I am fully confident in that. Judge prefers them. Maybe Parsons ends up being the pick due to Gettleman but I can see them going WR.

Is the draft here yet? Dang...it can't come soon enough.

I say this every year as a long time Jet fan but this draft is the most important draft the Jets have ever had...lol

I wouldn't go WR in the first. Either OL or defense, IMO. I think they're a pass rusher and another CB away from being a very good defense.

There’s been a lot of talk that teams just aren’t getting the usual info about players re medical so there’s a sense a lot of teams will try to move down. Or punt out of picks to next season.

Yup, this is why I was totally fine with the Jets getting the second and fourth next year for Darnold. This was a weird college season and guys have a lot less tape, and a lot more questions, than normal.

Might also be an opportunity for the Jets to trade up if everyones trying to move out. We'll see how it plays out.

But if everyone's trying to move out, there's value in stepping in. Just have to be sure on who you're eyeing with that pick.

Seems like a good time to actually get as many picks as possible this year if you trust your scouting department. With more uncertainty that means more guys will fall to the 2nd/3rd rounds that wouldn't last that long with better information all around.

Same, that would be a home run draft. But I don't see how Etienne falls that far down to 86, but crazier things have happened.
