When did I ever suggest I am the "smartest person in the room"? When did I ever suggest I am smart or witty? You make a lot of presumptions. I am just genuinely being me. No caffeine. Nothing but just genuine me. If you can't handle it, not my problem. I'm not going to watch myself worrying about people who think things like "smartest person in the room." That thought has genuinely never crossed my mind. You're the only one worrying about "smartest person in the room." You know how I know? Because you're the one that brought that up, not me.
"Unappealing" hahahahaha. Listen little lamb, if I gave a damn about "appealing" to a bunch of dudes, and perhaps some ladies, on a hockey forum, I would be a tiny, tiny person indeed. Those kind of thoughts literally do not weigh on me at all. Perhaps you should spend less time worrying about what people think of you and more time paying attention and using your brain. Maybe you would have more to say. Or more insight at least. Rather than just projecting your insecurity and your lack of confidence. Rather than worrying about who the smartest person in the room is. It would seem to me the only people who worry about who the smartest people in the room are, are people who want to be the smartest people in the room. That's not my goal. Nor does it interest me in the least.
You don't like my thoughts, I could care less. You sound jealous honestly. I don't quite know why. But that's what you are coming off as . I am just speaking my mind. You can call it opinion if you like, everything everyone says is technically "opinion". My "opinion" just seems to be more informed than yours. Maybe you should spend less time worrying about what people think of you and worrying about who's smarter, and focus more on the actual topic. Ad hominem isn't any kind of argument.
"Everyone understands the media", clearly not. If that were the case then people wouldn't automatically assume that something being spoken about often in the media is likely to happen just because it's being spoken about often.
Hockey entertainment, world news...... doesn't change the premise.
Anyway, how about you take your ego, take your pride and do something productive with it instead of worrying about what I am doing. If you disagree with me, if you think something I said, something about the actual topic, is incorrect, then give me a valid argument. Then explain it with words. Using that oh so big brain of yours. Because, it's so obvious. YOU are the smartest person in the room. I'm talking about hockey. Well, and the media... a little bit.
