Thompson and De Leo work a great offensive chance and Hugo makes a big sprawling save.

Thompson and Huntington in a Donnybrook. Both threw some big ones and both landed some. 5 seconds to go. A lot of face shields punched.

I can't say enough about the play of Schmid. The kid is standing tall and tonight is his second game in 24 hours.
White did not arrive in Utica soon enough to get into the game. I'd say it's more like DiNeen felt he needed to get some ice time with the boys before just throwing him out there.

Wotherspoon is getting a penalty for high sticking Hudon in the crease. He is staying down for a quite a while. To the bench on his own.

Lots of back and forth but few shots. Comets had a whole lot of trouble getting out on the last sequence. Lots of hacking and pushing the puck, but none of it with any other purpose but to get rid of it.

Wotherspoon just wrists the puck from the Point with no intended purpose and the Crunch just take it like a pass and break out. He does this thing a lot.
Boqvist is flattened by Foote (Cal). he wanted a penalty as he didn't have the puck. he might be correct.
Schmid 2 more good stops.
